I got my Camaro tinted and took some video of the process as well as the results. Llumar CTX15 all the way around, with CTX50 on the windshield. It looks so much better with tint now!

Looks very nice! It wasn't clear in the video, but any dot matrix issues at the top of the rear window?

Nothing that I have noticed so far. I can upload some up close pics later if you would like.

I'd appreciate it if you could share a few pics. I've read from other posts painting that area black or inserting a black vinyl strip improves the look, but I'm unsure if that is really necessary.

if done right this isnt a problem. i have had mine for a couple years without issue using 3M tint.

you could but you may have a legal issue in MD. you know how stingy our state can be at times.

I'm happy with it but up close on those edges it isn't perfect. Not enough for me to complain about at least.

that is almost not noticeable. unless you point it out no one is seeing that.

Here's mine with 35% all around and 50% Scorpion on the windshield for comparison.

(Incidentally, in the background is a poor guy fixing his F.O.R.D. F-150 that overheated on the highway.)

The rear windshield is incredibly difficult to pull off a perfect job with, because one has to be a midget with gibbon arms. My tint guy didn't cuss for one second, but he was sweating it, literally and figuratively. Pardon me the dirt, the car is a dust magnet for some reason.

Looks great! I love the broken Ford in the back lol. I had my last Camaro tinted in 35 all around with 80 on the windshield and wanted something darker. It is below the legal limit here but... cops don't seem to care so I guess I'll see how it goes.

Thanks for sharing the photos. Is the dot matrix line that neat and thin at the top of the rear glass as well? If so, I think I'll be good.

I just got a bit nervous about how mine might turn out after reading several places the need for sanding down the dots or putting black vinyl at the top of the rear glass.

Regarding tinting the windshield, does 50% still allow you to see at night with no issue or do I need to go higher? My night vision is not what it used to be.

It's wider along the top edge, progressively widening towards the center from each end, but still very neat with no bubbles at all.

50% is about as low as you can go before it starts affecting night vision. I have driven a good bit at night with this 50% and even in poorly lit areas it hasn't been a problem.
