Here's a side view and a better one of the wheels. You'll also notice the ground effects are black which you can't order from Chevy even though it's on their web site. I had my dealer paint them, thought it looked better and tied in with the front.

Those look good. Certainly better than the original polished aluminum. Agree about the old school stuff. Not a fan of black.

They look great. I am also a fan of chrome wheels. I had my 5th Gen OEM wheels done by LA Wheel and Tire. They did a really good job on my Miata, but not so good on the Camaro. It was nice, but not spectacular as aftermarket wheels. So, when I got my 6th Gen I went to Detroit Wheel and Tire and got a beautiful job on the OEM wheels. The LA wheels were actually chrome plated while the Detroit wheels were chrome powder coated. I don't know enough about the procedures to know if one is better than the other. The Miata job was by far the best. The Detroit job looks good, but does not have the same level of sparkle as after market wheels do. They polish up nice, though, but you cannot use special chrome cleaner on the powder coated wheels. They say to use regular car wash to clean them and car wax to finish them. In all cases the cost was about $800 a wheel plus $100 - 200 shipping. When you order a set of wheels from them they take a set that they have received from a previous customer that has been chromed and send them to you and then you send back your OEM wheels. They both claim to do an extensive inspection of the wheels before they accept them. So far I have had no complaints about the integrity of the wheels.

I’m not much of a chrome fanboy but I’ll tell you, those look fantastic! Well done!

PVD coating from Detroit wheel is better in the fact that it doesn't add any weight to the wheel and it will not peel, flake, or pit like chrome plating tends to do over time. Also scratches can be polished out.

These look good in the classic 5 spoke design. The guy with blue car I don't like his.

Thanks for the feedback. I feel much better now about having these instead of the chrome plated.

Love the chrome! Had the factory chrome wheels on my C6 Z06 and the of course were always dirty from the ever present brake dust. One shot from the pressure washer every week, and they were clean and shiny again.

Power tour came thru ft. wayne last weekend, for a very rainy saturday.
