Cold Exhaust "Tink" Noise? *Video Inside*
Started hearing this noise at start up and want to know if anyone else has it or if I am just being paranoid.
It sounds EXACTLY like the exhaust settling/cooling noise after the vehicle has been driven and turned off. However, I have recently started hearing this noise at start up after the vehicle has sat for a while(overnight). It goes away after the vehicle is warm so i assume it it just the exhaust expanding from the introduction of heat to the system. Anyone else get this at startup? Is it normal? The car has 9000 miles on the clock. I live in a very warm climate where temps don't fluctuate much this time of the year. See video below for sound - occurs most audibly at 0:36, 0:39, 0:42, 0:47: |

My 2016 SS used to have that noise too and I never had any problems with it. Normal sound to me!
