Carbon Fiber Dash panel option

Anyone order one with the carbon dash? I'd like to see some personal photos of what it looks like.

I didn't order. Just a photo from Al O's car. I find it looks cheap. Just my opinion

I ordered one but they are on constraint now so I don't believe any are delivered yet.

Hopefully by the time the A10's are built it will be off constraint. I've seen it in person and love it.

I guess I'll have to see it in person. One said cheap the other loves it. Is it real carbon?

I wonder if anyone is or will be making it at a cheaper price so it could be added later if desired. I think it would cost a bunch more to change from carbon to suede if you go that rout.

It's real carbon and it would cost more to go from suede to CF. Quite sure these panels will be available from GM, but in the past I haven't seen too much in the aftermarket on dash panels.

Some folks are getting it to match the exposed CF insert on the hood. If it's painted maybe go suede. Mine will be painted with black stripe but I'm still going with the CF dash if it's available, but definitely not a showstopper for me.

You can come see mine in person...

for me, it's that there is no other CF in the interior. If there was some on the center area and maybe some on the driver's side, I would like it. I guess I need more symmetry

Same for me. I really like the looks of it, but for 500 or 600 more, whichever it was, I think there should be more CF pieces. Definitely needs to be on the other side of the stereo and drivers side vent, and I would like to see something on the doors replaced with CF and maybe the console. Since it has none of that, I will stick with the suede.

It's just too shiny, in the pictures at least. Makes it look cheaper.

Nothing about real carbon fiber looks cheap. Look at how the weave shimmers. I think that's stunning!!

But that could just be my opinion.

...the only thing that's cheap is that it just costs $500....

It's nice but you need the carbon hood insert to match it or it looks out of place IMO.. I would get both if I was doing a ZL1.
