Does anybody know if they actually fixed that with MY2018? Or can rattle still be a problem on the new models, some people say they changed something on the npp to fix it

I cannot find this locally.
Every store has a great selection of JB Weld products.
Is there a similar product in the JB lineup ?

Seconding this.

I'm prim cat delete now, so going back to the dealer isn't an option. I guess I'm doomed to find something that can still muffle properly in stealth mode but is aftermarket -_-

Silly question but I'm hearing some bad rattles once on the highway coming from the rear of the car. I don't hear the rattle when the car is idling from the outside near the exhaust though.

Gonna try the fuse pull to see if it stops.

To EVERYONE with failed repairs, it's not being done properly. If it's not COMPLETELY clean, and not applied properly, it will fail. Mines on 20 mos, still rattle free. Of course because I did it, not the incompetent "techs".

I did the repair myself with the correct poxy pak. So far so good. I think I could see where the epoxy hadn't fully dried on the last repair it looked splattered like they started the car too soon after instead of allowing plenty of time to dry.

I'll report back if the rattle returns. Hopefully you won't hear from me though.

So I just did the fix myself last night. Scrubbed it like crazy on both side with brake cleaner and a toothbrush until it was completely clean, then put generous amounts of the correct epoxy from the TSB on each side of the valve. Let it set overnight. Just took the car out for a long drive, put it through its paces in all the different modes, and so far, theres no rattle. We'll see how long it last...

It's been working on mine for a year and a half without issue. Mine was one of the cars GM came out and tested the fix on. I got headers and an x-pipe shortly after and still rattle free. Maybe it depends how it is applied or maybe I don't have enough miles. I only have about 5k since then

Rattle came back about a week ago. REALLY FRUSTRATED!!! I did the TSB myself and used the right epoxy and was meticulous about trying to get it right, including giving it over 12 hours of drying time!!!
