I don't daily, but I do drive my 1LE to the track. I was concerned about this very issue so I installed these screens on Tuesday for the aux and main radiators. Not 100% coverage but better than wide open like they were.

Just did both '18 1LE's (street car and track car) with these screens a month ago. These should be factory stock on our cars, iirc on the ZL1 the small screens for the outboard coolers are standard, short $$ from GM. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

Pardon me if I missed it, but where can I get a set of these screens? Does the front bumper have to come off to install them? Thanks!
