Found some pics from Anderson days that was my camaro and a cpl buddys 5.0s

You may have been there a few years after I stopped going. I was HEAVILY into the "scene" from 1991-1996 or so. Had a few different cars during that time. Then I got back into dirt bikes and MX. Took a breather from cars, but got back into cars around 2003ish.

My friend Tim (rip) had a Calypso green 5.0 like the one in your picture in the background. His was an LX 5.0 though, called "Pony Express". I don't recognize any of the other cars in the pics and I don't recall seeing the Street Fighter banner on anything. We used to race at Killian road, the industrial park in Amherst, or sometimes we would go out to Lawrence Bell drive. But mainly we would just cruise NFB and Sheridan and catch lights. Good times!


BTW, the first autocross was this past Sunday. Conditions were less than optimal lol. Ultra High Performance summer tires and heavy rain do not mix well. I ended up 3rd out of 6 in my class. Watch the video and notice the steering. You can see me correcting the oversteer a lot, but what you can't tell is how bad the understeer (push) is. The winner was in an 80's fox bod Mustang with all seasons.

Yeah we did lawerence bell a lil bit would go down to tift and ohio too but yeah your a lil older than me i was there lil later i do recall the pony express car that was a pj speed shop car wasnt it one of the faster kids back than had a early 3rd gen he owns that 2fast garage in tonawanda now

Yes, Tim's car was the PJ car back then. He wasn't sponsored or anything but had them do all of the work. They knew their way around a Mustang for sure. The 3rd gen you're talking about is Brian Prior. He still has it, and it's crazy fast now. His shop is behind Comp Trans on Erie. You probably remember UBRF then.

I think i seen him and that camaro at lancaster last year with the outlaws
The street fighter started with bixbe who i think married priors sister
Did you know valvo another pj car gren gray gt i think he still has that to him and prior were pretty even back then
Ubrf dont ring a bell but a lot of the times i need reminders lol especialy seeing almost 20 yrs ago but it was always a good drama free time

Dave Bixby= Shifty, on all the forums. I run into him a few times a year at Cars+Coffee events. He has a newer Shelby GT500 now, baby blue. Gorgeous car.

Valvo= Big Hands, on the forums. He still has that car, plus another one now that has a turbo.

I'm sure me and you have 30-40 mutual friends.

Most likely its been a while since ive seen anyone i drifted into trucks jeeps harleys sleds wheelers etc etc for a lil bit and finally got another camaro last year im sure ill c ya out somewhere this year

Did a nght race at the Marketplace Mall in Rochester last night. Was a ton of fun!

Good enough for fastest CAM car and 6th out of 21 in CAM/STR. You guys really need to enjoy your cars like the GM Engineers intended. Come on out to New Era in a few weeks.

Went racing over the weekend and won my class. 5th and 6th gen Camaro's fit into a few classes. I ran CAM-C. Sorry about the wind noise, it's something that I'm hoping to fix before the next race on June 16th at New Era Field.
