Gauge light wiring - where to tap?

I have searched like crazy for this.

Where is a wire i can tap for lighting on a gauge? I would like it to be a source that dims and come on and off with interior lighting.

I am hoping for something to tap into near by rather than running a wire all the way to the fuse block.

Any tips?

The gauges/interior lighting dim via serial data not a traditional dimming control.

I'm just going to wire it to a 12v when car is on. this thing is not as straightforward as old school stuff lol

I have pillar gauges and a couple dash gauges. I connected solid 12v at the fuse box (engine bay) power where the red wire comes in. There is a power strip on the side of the fuse box. My remote (ignition) 12v power is also tapped into the fuse box using an add-a-fuse into circuits 42 and 44. I had a harder time figuring out the dimmer power, but since I was running from the fuse box to the cab, I spliced into a yellow wire at the headlight plug. Negative - you can find a bolt in the cab when you peal back the carpet. I have some pics I can post later
