That’s the way I did it and it made it really easy to deal with the clip.

Alpha, what Spartan and Nitefall said is exactly right.

If you prefer the best of both worlds wait for our Modified OEM 95 mm which will be good for 850+ HP setups (will need tune), BTW the 103 is not OEM.

If you do not want to tune, our current one at 91 mm effective at WOT and great response right off idle will do the job.

Thanks,

Mighty Mouse; could you e-mail us? We'll send you a replacement connector pigtail (the one with red tab).

In reference to the "Relearn-and-Test-Instructions-Rev-NEW-V5.pdf" document found on the FAQ section of www.solerengineering.com...

Test and Re-learn Instructions (Procedure B) - Step 3 Says "Start engine and allow engine to idle at 650 RPM for three additional minutes and until redline
has retracted to 6500 RPM.
"

I have a 2018 2SS and the redline is printed on the tachometer at 6500 RPM. Does this only apply to the ZL1? or am I missing something?

Misprint...pretty sure the 6500 RPM should be 650/idle.

I never saw my redline change, it stayed at 6500 on mine, so moot point for me. Should idle at about 650 tho

The 6500 redline is in regards to Corvettes with the digital gauges.

Mike has already answered this... The "Relearn-and-Test-Instructions-Rev-NEW-V5.pdf" document was written for Vettes that have the Red Line built into the LCD display. He said that he will be updating the doc soon. The intent is to let the car warm up prior to the next step.

Installed my TB over the weekend did the relearn w/o the Batt disconnect. Did the drive, up to about 96 miles. So far at about 1800 to 2500 rpm I feel just a slight unsmoothness. I assume its still learning and this will eventually go away...right? I punched it a couple of times, definatley get a bigger tire chirp banging into 3rd gear coming off a ramp. Will it get even quicker as it learns and smooths out?

I have noticed the same. When I installed mine, I disconnected the battery overnight.

For me, seems between 2-3000 rpm in second or third gear during non-aggressive acceleration, I get what I would describe is a bit of surging.

Anyone else feel this?

Overall, the car does respond off the line better than stock.

Yeh...exactly my symptoms too. Only feel the surge in casual takeoffs from a stop. Its about 1800 to 3000rpm. Also first startup in the morning just before the idle settles to 650 rpm it will surge up a few rpms for 5 or 10 sec. before going back to 650. Did disconnecting your batt fix it or you still have it?

I'm right at about 100 miles since the install and I noticed this once. I was hoping it was just part of the re-learn.

I have about 500 miles on the car since installation with the slight surge I noted above still being present.
