Clip Broke!

Clip removal instructions nothing like the clip on my TB. The plastic tab on my wiring connector clip broke off, now I have nothing to release the connector to pull off wiring!
How can I get this off without doing more damage?

I installed mine last night. Had trouble with the grey tab like everyone else, but luckily didn't break it. The instructions that came with the TB for that part is not accurate since it refers to a red tab.

I disconnected the grey tab by pressing down onto the lower part of the "T" of the grey tab and simultaneously pulling it away from the TB using a thin flat head. It takes a couple tries but that worked.

When you're finished installing the new TB then just reconnect the connector then press down on the grey tab again and push it in.

Can't understand the problem people have with the tab. I can literally disconnect in seconds every time with no tools. Simple simple.
I don't know maybe the tab is different on a 2019 ZL1.

I'm guessing the 2019 tabs are different. I always have an issue with the various GM plastic connectors and had no problem with mine.

On that note, today will be day one of the relearn!

Mine didn't have a red or gray tab. Black tab the same color as the connector itself. 17' model.

Are you sure? It's underneath and very hard to see. I have a red tab that had to be pulled out before unlatching the connector. That's on my '17 ZL1.

So it seems like GM used possibly 3 different variations of connectors lol. Mine is a 17 SS 1LE

I just bought this TB last week and wondering if it's worth switching. I'm positive that it does everything that Soler claims, but if the ECM is overriding the physical benefits then there's really no point without a tune.
This is not true in my car. I've put about 850 miles on mine now, so lots of learn cycles and it's better then ever. Throttle response is instant and drive ability is excellent.

On WOT the 95mm/103mm will have a better power output. In day to day driving, using light throttle, the Soler will give a better response.

If you can wait a few months.. Soler is planning on releasing a 95mm which should trump the current ones on the market if it's as advertised

Are you all removing the TB before trying to unlatch the connector?

95 and 103mm TB's will need to be tuned to the car..
Soler TB does not need anything but a ECU reboot.
Also with Soler TB will have the same surface area as a 91mm, happy medium.
