The Ford dealer thought it was a Z28.

He must be confusing it with a ZR1. $70k would be the correct dealer rape job for that one

When I just traded in my 2013 1/LE with supercharger, cam and all the other blah blah blah they gave me 41k Towards the zl1. That's on a car that in stock form would get between 30-33k trade in value. Granted the car was A1 and done up right they still gave me 8-11 k more for my modded car. And before you say they just took it off the price of the one I was getting......nope we came to agreement on the price of the ZL1 before they even knew I was trading anything or that I even owned the 1/LE .. With all that said I do know that this was a rare situation and deal I was able to make but they do happen. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk |

If a dealer were to have made me this offer I would not be posting a question if I should sell or not sell. I would be posting I "sold" my car, I would have left that dealership with a check in my hand as soon as that offer was made.

Offer me $70k for my ZL1 and watch how quick I slap the taste out of your mouth and tell you to get off my lawn.
This car and I will be together until one of us dies.

However, it seems that many of us would part ways with our Camaro for $70k. I would. (hint, hint . . . to anyone out there that wants a 'Vert where the only mod is a clear bra and rubber floor mats . . . and emergency sunscreen in the glovebox. I'll even throw in the car cover for a discount.) |
