LED Bulb Swap on 2019 ZL1

So I got these new LED bulbs that everyone seems to be swapping to (Suparee Headlights) and I got my drivers side bulb out and disconnected but spent about a hour trying to get the new one in and can’t get it to lock into place, I even tried the old one and can’t get it to lock back in either. Has anyone else done this and has these issues? What did you end up doing to get the bulbs back in? Currently screwed with a paper weight ZL1 1LE in the garage if I can’t get them back in.

It’s more a question about the install removal than the bulb

That's too nice a car to let it languish in the garage. Are you talking about the LED brake/tail light bulbs?

I've heard it's much easier to access the bulbs by removing the tire and access thru the fenderwell.

It’s doable under the hood. Have many children! train them at 10 while they still have small hands. Seriously if you’re a contortionist, it’s really not that hard. I have really big meat hooks and managed to upgrade my headlight bulbs. When you get a day off just relax, lube up your hands and you can do it. It’s pretty much all by feel so when you remove the originals, get the sense of approach, and what engagement feels like to put it back in.

Are you sure you bought D3S and not D1S bulbs by chance? Their connectors are similar, but there are subtle differences and D1S bulbs will not lock in place.
