Took delivery of mine today. Got a text from my salesman on Friday saying the car was being put on a truck in Michigan and he expected it this week. Actually showed up at the dealership this morning, and they were able to get the PDI done today and I picked it up after work.
At no point did the car ever show up in the inventory search on Chevrolet's site, or even in my dealers inventory.

Welp, looks like I got my hopes up last week with a 4200 update I got from the order status thread. Must have caught it on its way back from hood wrap. Now at 4B00 with 7/31 eta but I can’t see how that’s possible to hit at this point since it will be going by rail. My 1ss 1le built 5/17 has got to be one of the oldest ones not in motion at this point, I would think :(

It took 198 days(6 months and 2 weeks) for this sold order 2SS UQT 1LE to arrive. I haven't received a 2SS or a UQT allocation since this one in February. Absolutely insane as I would normally have 20+ of these in stock this time of year.

That's lovely. But these posts are very disheartening. I have no problem waiting 6 months, I don't even mind waiting a year, but I'm starting to wonder if I'll get to have this car at all.

Got some great news today - I was one of those people who just had the car show up randomly. Went from 4b00 on Wednesday to delivered this evening. Will have the car next week once back from traveling - hope the process starts to speed up for everyone else as well!

So I have a couple questions. I know all of this has probably been answered somewhere many times but can you tell me how many allocations you normally get? If you only get 3 a year normally and you haven't had one since Feb that's not too bad. If you normally get 20 a month then it is extremely bad. Also, do we know for sure there will be a 2024 Camaro? If so what kind of chance do you think someone has of getting a ZL1 1LE for 24? Thanks |

Before covid and all of this other bs, I would stock 20-30 Camaros at a time. Not since I've been here(11 years) have Camaros been so scarce and slow to ship. No one is getting the allocations they used to though. This was a normal sight for my dealership. So imo, it is bad.

I contacted the dealer in April 2022 and they got back to me two weeks later saying I would not get the car. Towards the end of April 2022 they told me the car was magically built and shipped. Car was built 4/21 and arrived at my dealer in Long Island on 6/6. I took delivery on 6/17, and I love it:
