Had/have a 2022 on order since oct 2022... just got an email this morning with my new build number for my 2023... fingers crossed this one gets picked up by the plant.

I've had one on order since September 2021. Now trying for a 2023, but still nothing.

Took delivery of my 22 ZL1 M6 Rapid Blue last week. This is a rare machine for sure in Canada. I haven't seen the official numbers, but I believe 22Zl1 units for Canada is in the sub teens. I appear to be very fortune.

Not sure how you have yours specd out. But if you go on "dealer inventory " there is about 6 2ss currently forsale or in transit to dealers. Actually when i looked today there is 3 ZL1 also.

I'm familiar with those. But who knows when they were ordered. I suspect as far back as a year ago. I know of one dealer who placed an order in May last year for two 2SS's and won't be getting them until June of this year! Even my dealer has a 2SS in transit (not mine). So, unfortunately it doesn't mean much.

Seeing the info about price increases in the states...so about $2000.00 for vehicle and shipping on a typical V8 model. Guessing this might be closer to $2500.00 in Canada if looking at exchange rates.

Just an unofficial guess but wouldn't be too surprised to see this happen.

What's the feeling on this thought?

Infuriating, given that I placed my order 8 months ago, and I'll now have pay more for a car that I still have no idea when it might actually be built.

My order on 31 Jan 22 for a 1SS 1LE M6 gave me a build date of 15 May 22 on 14 Apr 22, last day for 2022's. Yesterday I inquired on Chevy Canada chat for an update and today was emailed that my build date is now 06 Jun 22. By the time delivery delays are accounted for, I might get 6 or 7 weekends to enjoy the car and do the break in before storing it in the garage for the deluge season.

Need some input here...Don,t understand a response I got back from gm chat about a build enquiry.

Quick story here, been after my sales guy for just about 3 weeks to place an order with gm. Have been told on the next order day, new car manager will look after it next week. So now 2 weeks down. Then told there is a mistake on the order, so again did not get put in. Got rattled with sales guy and told him to find out what the issue is and get back to me. Got a call later in the day that the order has been placed now. Ok, great thanks for taking care of it. But as discussed before when we originally set up the order I was to get a build number and a copy of the workbench sheet. This chase went on for a few days and numerous calls and messages from me to the new car manager, whom I never did get to talk to...after my sales guy when away for the long weekend and had left me a message to talk to the new car manager. Then out of the blue my sales guy sent me a build number and then after more requests from me a copy of of a GM Workbench sheet. But the sheet has no build number or priority code. Any way I called gm chat to check on the status and their reply was..."at this time we do not have any info regarding your order as it was just placed. Please check back in about 6 weeks"...any one run across this answer before? Wondering if my order has actually been put in or if gm processing time is very slow. Not sure what this all means.

Now that I got my rant out of the way.

Got the following answer from GM Chat about a build.

"at this time we do not have any info regarding your order as it was just placed. Please check back in about 6 weeks"...

This is a week plus since the order was supposed to have been placed by my dealer. Wondering if anyone else has gotten this response back before and / or can shed some light on what it means.

I ordered a 23 ZL1 M6 in Riverside Blue 2 days ago (May 25th) and I was given my GM workbench print out with order number. SRE - Sold Retail / Priority 1. I was assured we have allocations and that I’m the only ZL1 and only 23 Camaro on order at my dealer yet. There are 3 locations and we’re 2nd biggest of the 3. I also work for said dealer so not too worried about it right now but will be like a hawk on status updates. My dealer has back log on C8 vettes and I see 2-3 show up every month but I know the Camaro is a different story. Only optioned colour, transmission and red seat belts so hope my order squeezes through the constraints.

My original order started March 2021. I cannot believe that this is actually going to happen and I'll be driving one of the best designed vehicles on the road today.

I got a 1SS 1LE slated for my dealer in Airdrie. Sounds like I'm a few days behind your build. Keep us posted with your shipping updates! CMP has been good to me in the past with Silverados etc.
