Bowling Green on a whim

Michigan to Lexington. Decided BG was calling my name. First time here and plan on visiting the Corvette museum. Tips and suggestions on places, restaurants, pubs? Google doesn't tell ya everything. Cruising the main strip in town is fun. It's a happening place this weekend. Just need to figure out what that 'happening' is exactly.

I'm interested in this as well. Planning a trip down from Ohio someone this summer (if it'll ever stop raining every other day).

If you are talking about this weekend, it is going to be hot. So many good options for eateries. Double Dogs, Buckhead's, Montana Grill, 6-4-3, 440 main, etc.

Try to get into a visit to the Lost River Cave. Nice small tour & the air temp is cool. If you have already arrived, you must consider on your way out a stop by one of the Bourbon Distillery's.

I'd love to go to Camaro Fest, but unfortunately, it doesn't line up with any of my vacation time this summer. Most likely June or August for me to make it down there.

Plan is to go to CamaroFest. Stoked about that one so thanks for reminding me:-) Also interested in a tail run. Being in town today and tomorrow thought I'd get a feel for local happenings....

My wife and I were just there yesterday! The museum is awesome, I can't believe I forgot about the sink hole from a few years ago! Also, as we were leaving, someone had just pulled in in a beautiful black Camaro with red accents and a carbon fiber ZL1 hood. It was absolutely stunning, exactly like how I want mine looks in a couple of years. Which one of you guys was at the museum yesterday afternoon?
