Man I love the LLT...it's a freakin' over-achiever. It's cheap to buy, cheap to own, runs on cheap gas, and has almost one and a half horsepower per cubic inch. Just superb! |

A lesser reason I got a V6, but a bonus indeed.

Nice brah. That is actually pretty sick for a car with over 300hps that ways almost 2 tons. GM hit the nail on the head with the v6 IMHO. I just fell in love with the torque when I bought mine, I was originally looking at a v6 vert.

Exactly! I have a V6 and average around 14MPG when calculating it the correct way, not by taking pics every 10 minutes. Let's be honest, if you want great gas mileage, buy a hybrid.

Small hint of jealousy? I'd call bs if it were an 8, but it isn't.

I got a v6 because,
Its faster than a late 80's Mustang GT which killed the Camaros of that age. It's faster than most of the last gen Mustangs. Which means it's plenty fast enough to me. It's the fastest thing I have ever owned. It gets upwards of 30mpg. It's a looker I'm a Camaro Man, always have been. 22k brand new (1LS owner).

wow, im surprised by a few of the responses from the V-8 owners.
Sure,if you want great gas mileage, get a hybrid. But if you want good gas mileage, and have fun driving too, get a camaro. pretty wise decision if you ask me. |

I see 34.5 MPG in your post pic....Nice! My best so far with LFX on road trip has been about 31. May get a V8 someday, but digging the V6 mileage, lower cost fuel and enough kick to have fun when I wanna....

I see absolutely nothing wrong with going the v6 route if you drive a lot or are concerned with fuel economy. I just bought my ss and will be taking it across country, my dad just laughed, I was initially looking at small hatchbacks with good mpgs.
