A few months ago was the time to trade. I work at a dealership and we literally had no used cars. That's why used car values soared. I think they have stabled out a bit. They gave me 17k for my truck they had it listed for 20k then lowered the price to 18k. They probably lost money on that one.

I heard their offers are normally pretty good. Thanks for letting me know, I’ll check them out.

My dad was in the market aug - nov and used car were moving so quick. I would be happy to get $15k for mine.

I recommend you also check with Carvana and Vroom for a quick price quote.

Nice rig. Throw it on a couple of online for sale by owner sites. I bet it goes fast.

You could get 20k for it easily in south Florida where I'm at. With the mileage and history maybe even 25k... Good luck with the sale!

You can always put it in storage for not much a month. Cliamte controlled, that way you keep it. My daughter lives there also and her car is in my garage, so I understand your dilemma!

You do realize the original post is nearly 2 years old? Probably long sold.

I use AutoTrader pretty often to sell cars.

For selling, private sale site, carvana and carmax have been mentioned.
I'm going to sell a driver-hyundai next week.
I don't want to deal with tire kickers so will do the online buyer.

Carmax sent me lowball offer of $6k on the car that sells for $12k in autotrader etc. Carvana was better but still low at $8k.
I'll likely go with Carvana just to avoid all the BS with the losers that flock to online sales.

"Will you accept monthly payents, A bad check, Give a warranty, Let me rob your house later, Lowball worse than Carmax, Wasted time tire kickers, Wasted time test drivers..." I have sold a few cars and don't want to repeat all that.

Almost like posting a Wanted To Buy.

Edit: Retraction on Carvana, I heard they are giving out checks that bounce. You'll have no car and no money as they file bankrupcy eventually.
