Stable Rehab

Haven’t been around here as much as usual due to the holidays and working on freshening up my garage. Took my time and a couple of months, but it’s finally finished except for the flooring, which will be done this summer (still debating on how I want to do it). All and all, very happy with how it turned out. Here’s what the project consisted of:
1 – Several trips to the thrift store and refuge to get rid of ‘crap’.
2 – Removed everything from the garage to include existing shelfs (made of pressed wood)
3 – Re-ran all visible wires and hid the best as possible to give a neater appearance
4 – Painted the entire garage, did trim in a different shade.
5 – Wife got me a new tool chest for Christmas
6 – Cleaned up and panted old book case used for car care supplies to give it a new look
7 – Designed and built a small workbench (6’ X 2’ X 37”)
8 – Wife also picked me up a sound bar for Christmas to listen to music while I’m in the garage; hooked it up to an old TV from my office and an old laptop so I can listen to Pandora and watch DIY YouTube videos
9 – Upgraded side wall shelves using plywood, making the longer and wider in the process in order to store more ‘crap’
10 – Made a small shelf for over the workbench and installed undershelf lighting.

What's with that bigazz eyesore of a MASSIVE multi-plug outlet above that bench? AND....U need to get the nasty-lookin' wires hangin' down on that one wall!!

(I made sure that when I did my re-mod that I had ALL wires hidden....only had the xmas lites up during the season)

Last pic is of my 22' long x 3.5' wide x 6' dp cemented pit!! Full size oak pool table on casters, easily raised/lowered w/ my m/cycle lift!

Kikazz surround sound, 10k btu ac, 45k gas ceiling furnace, super insulated, did it all myself!!

The multi-plug outlet is a surge protector and is now hidden, also, many of the wires you saw were cable I just draped over it while I was moving things around.. The wires you see hanging down on the one wall are the cables to my Battery Tender that get plugged up to my Corvette when it's parked for prolonged periods .. but thank you and your garage looks great, love the pit.

Thanks to all for the great comments. I know there are a lot of 'show case' garages out there, but I think mine looks a lot better then it did and am very happy with how it turned out.

+1 And just cause you post pics doesn't mean your garage is completely finished yet. And it looks awesome so far for not being done yet.
