MSD manifold and 95mm Dyno Results
This is or results from baseline vs MSD manifold and 95mm TB combo upgrade only. Stock airbox, stock exhaust. As you can see the car picked up 26 peak hp and 39-41 hp at the top of the run. This is an M6 car for those that will ask. Also still on gasoline.

Tuned prior to baseline run? Only asking because a number of similar posts tend to forget to quantify tune based gains separately of the product being highlighted, which would provide the most accurate picture for someone to compare options side-by-side.
Thanks for the data |

holly batmobile…. I always thought my MSD with 103 Katech TB ran strong (butt dyno) on my M6 and back then I tuned it myself aka mainly disable the rear 02s... LOL

Interesting because many other MSD intakes have shown gains from about 4500 and up while losing to the stock manifold below.
I'm guessing you didn't do a run with the MSD and stock TB |

We have made about 90 dyno pulls with this car just trying and testing things. Cold air intakes, manifold, TB, headers, Mufflers, Timing, AFR, etc... We have really been trying to find out the best parts you can put on these things.

Will the ported 95 require any tuning or additional install procedures other than booting up to work properly? Car already has msd and ported stock tb. Tuned
And from my understanding will work with the rotofab tube with a bit of a stretch? |

There may be some values that need to be changed when using a ported one. The dyno numbers you see in the first post are an unported 95mm TB. We changed nothing in the tune for it. We bolted it on and went with it.

Yes, the rotofab silicone connection will stretch over the 95mm. So you don't need any other parts to make it fit. |

Impressive. Love that effort you guys put in, nice to see real work going into these cars from several forum folks. I would think you have a nice package with real world gains to offer now. What headers are you liking on M6 cars with bolt ons and/or a cam? Did you try tuning the car after those MSD/95MM TB numbers just to see?

We did make some small changes after the manifold and tb install, but again never made more than the first pull. We did the headers right after the manifold and it did require some tuning to get power out of them. But no cats and adding headers will cause that lol. |
