I found the exhaust quiet and underwhelming. It was off the car and replaced by the THR exhaust before I even picked the car up.

I liked my stock exhaust so much i gave it to the recycler so he could enjoy it as well.

I liked the sound, just wasn't loud enough. Muffler delete for me. Love that sound every time I press the gas.

I must say though that had I got a L99 for what ever reason that exhaust would go bye, bye. As for my choice I'd rather look at big mufflers than god awful melon launchers.

My coworkers called my car, the "electric SS". It was too quiet. Installed Flowmaster AT catback shortly thereafter. Much better now.

I wouldn't mind a meaner sound but do not look forward to the drone...

Honestly? You're right.

My system does not drone, and many others don't either. That's a concern for many, including myself.

Notwithstanding, when I add headers and hi-flows to my AT system, I suspect they'll have drone. I don't drive it on the highway much, so I could live with that.

Hated them. My first thing I did was cutting those god awful suit cases off.

I think the stock exhaust sounds just fine, but for me.....I like a Manly man sound, so headers and SLP axlebacks gave me exactly what I wanted and oh, yeah, the exhaust pop is music to my ears. Incidentally, you can drop a good 25 lbs by getting rid of the garbage cans!

Learned my lesson with my vette when I put headers on. L99 tuned with kooks and ls3 exhaust and also painted the muffs. Plenty loud on start up and really loud when you get on it. Best of all no drone.

Better than I thought initially, but the trash cans convinced me to switch. And I'm glad I did.
