ZL1 1LE rear diff lock up?

I did not experience this when test driving a 2018 ZL1 A10.
I did not experience this on my 2017 Z06.

I can literally feel one rear tire skipping when making a left or right turn from a stop and under normal (grandma) power. I can't recall if its inside tire or outside tire.

Guessing the eDiff is locking up to give me that extra traction I need to crawl around my neighborhood streets

I've tried this in tour, sport, track and its the same.
I've not tried it with traction control off (I will try it soon).

Anyone else experience this? Normal? Maybe the tuning of the eDiff is super sensitive since this is a track car?

Thanks

All the time, even more so when on slicks

My guess is that we experience it more on the 1LE due to the tires being insanely slick when cold.

Go into the PTM modes. I notice the e-diff does better at transferring the power from the left and right rear wheels when using the PTM modes.

It gets pretty complicated, but in addition to all the drive modes, there are 4 e-diff modes that are interlinked to those modes.

This is why when I want the best cornering possible, I use the PTM modes.

the sticky Goodyear 3rs on the ZL1 1LE also cause a more pronounced inner tire skipping. My car does it more on R comps compared to the factory tires.

Makes sense! Thanks.

BTW - I love the wheels in your signature photo.
