2019 SS pricing advice

Hi - first post here and looking to become a part of this community!

I'm looking at a 2019 SS convertible, manual with 15,000 miles. I'ts priced at $35K. Pictures show it in great condition.

It seems like a good price based on other SS I've looked at over the past year.

This car has everything I was looking thinking my Camaro would have - SS, cenvertible, manual, Apple Carplay. It has silver alum wheels - woud prefer black, but that's an easy fix.

Wanted to get thoughts on this price point and if there is anything I should be looking for.

That's about right. I'm assuming it's a 2ss?

Only thing I would recommend doing is making sure it was not an ex-rental. I know a ton of these have been hitting the market. Maybe you dont care if it was, but I personally would not touch a car that used to be a rental. $35K for a 2SS convertible seems to be a really good price based off of what I saw when I was potentially looking a little while ago.

indy82z annd 95imp, you are both correct, looking at CarFax, it's showing rental as the ownertype. Who rents manual transmission cars in the U.S.? None of the big rental companies do, so perhaps this was a smaller specialized rental company? This might need to be a pass given the rental owner type.

I am super leery about buying a manual transmission vehicle used in the first place... But, given that it was a rental, who knows how smoked that clutch is!

Go look at leftover '19 cars... They can still be had for a good price!

Actually, I've seen a lot of Hertz rental cars on Autotrader and other listing places that list as a "manual" but are really automatic. Make sure you check, Hertz has ton of Mustangs and Camaros, and they list them all as Manual, but they are ALL automatics, as you observed, no one rents manuals (except Turo :-)).

I paid 40k out the door for a 12k mileage 2ss hot wheels edition A10 convertible with NPP and Mag ride.
If I were looking for something M6 2019 year with maybe some addons, 37-40k seems reasonable if it’s under 10k miles. I agree with the community on rentals. Just know what ur buying if you go that route.

Yes, truly annoying when the car is listed as manual and it's not! Seems to be very common listing mistake.

Is it possible that they do this to get the suggested price to be lower? Maybe they're feeding the info automatically from another system and the transmission info doesn't translate properly?

Seems dumb no matter what the reason.
