Yeah my Mustang GT ran great with the Whipple tune. I can see how a canned tune could be an issue though, its just generic made for any engine, and they aren't all exactly the same.

Nope, I thought so as well, but I emailed my info to Whipple and asked them and they said Gen3. Built 4/2019.

Guess its not as simple as I thought...! I think the only way to know to to email them your sales order or serial number.

When I talked to Whipple in 2018 they had not changed the lower manifold to clear an LT4 pump he said. Not sure what gen mine is but bought it Dec of 15. The guy on youtube that shows how to grind and exactly where is pmoore4321. I've never upgraded because it's just my worktruck lol.

Hey all. Here is update. Taking car to Livernois Motorsports and getting LT4 HPFP, injectors, new Thermostat, Tune, and wideband gauge. The place I was talking to prior was too Ford-centric and didnt seem too interested.

Waiting on quote.

Good deal Livernois is a great performance shop. They'll get it figured out. Good luck

Done deal. Deposit on job made with Livernois. Now I'm just waiting on parts and an opening for this job to start. 3-5 weeks then an estimated 1 1/2 week for work once started. Pretty excited but that pretty much almost completes this driving season for this car sigh. There will be a little driving time to look forward to still.

LT4 HPFP
LT4 Injectors
New Thermostat
Dyno Tune
Installing my Hurst Short Throw Shifter
EDIT: Forgot also installing A pillar pod with Boost & A/F gauges
