I recently had a set of Brembo calipers powder coated as well as a set of ZL1 replica wheels. I was fortunate to meet Staff Sergeant Karlos Granados, owner of Golden West Customs out of Jacksonville, NC.

His work was fantastic to say the least, fast and extremely concerned about the quality of his work. He is also a career Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune.

If interested you can contact Karlos at 510-612-0464, let him know Larry from Havelock gave you his info. Fantastic individual to deal with. Oh yes, his prices were also the best in this area. On Facebook you can look up "Golden West Customs"

Larry

Those look killer! That’s the same color as my car so I’m torn between color matching or going a darkish yellow. I’ve been trying to get in touch with Madison powder coating but have had no such luck so far

Golden West Customs just recently powder coated a set of Brembo's for me. Can you notice the difference? Could this be a critical difference?

Those look killer too. I will check with them also since I am close to NC. However am mainly looking for a place that offers a core swap.

Here is his info, the guys name is Kevin. 608-721-6494..Madisonpowdercoating.com.....The best way to contact him is via Facebook, that's how I got him. And he does do the core exchange, that's what I had to do cause mine was a daily driver.

Just got 'em from TPF (aka Madison PowderCoaters) ...Kevin does great work Instead of red I went with Anodized Blue (sorta like a glossy version of the ice blue interior lights) with red Brembo decals. Think it offers enough complementing contrast to the Blue Ray paint and the chrome wheels

i'm doing mine today. no powder coat just engine enamel primer, paint and clear after decals all my stuff say's with ceramic good to 500 degrees.somehow on my street car i don't see the breaks ever seeing 500. i'm doing the rotors and new pads and a fluid flush so aside from cleaning and masking off a little i didn't even remove them. but i was limited on color choice so i went with cast iron it's metallic and looks good to me after the gloss clear.
it is taking 2 days with the cure time on the paint. i just said to my wife it's like watching paint dry.

Putting clear over decals isn't recommended. Heat has tendency to turn clear yellowish, plus makes it difficult to remove decals when time to replace
