Airaid intake tube. Opinions please

Thinking about getting the Airaid intake tube for the stock airbox. Has anyone used one of these? Any issues good or bad. I need to keep the stock airbox because the open ones like RF leave a mark on my airbrushed hoodliner. I’d like to clean it up and eliminate the sound tube bung ugliness!

I'm running one on my 18 V6 with a high flow filter. No issues. It deletes the sound tube as well

I used an AIRAID tube on a 6.0L Silverado with an S&B filter in the oem box. It cleaned up the engine compartment and made more intake noise.

There’s plenty of enclosed setups.

Cai
Holley - I like this one. The plastic matched factory stuff and would also look great hydrodipped

This. CAI, CAI Carbon Series, AFE Momentum, Airaid MXP, GM Performance, and Holley iNTECH come to mind.

I pulled the trigger on the Airaid tube and just installed it. I also modified the stock airbox bottom cutout and using a drop in Green filter. I like how this cleans up the weird looking stock tube and eliminates the sound tube mess! Now to see how it all performs.
