Blower guard

How many guys are running a blower guard for street use? It seems like these hoods seal really well and the chances of stuff getting up there are slim.

I have a message out to my tuner but I figured I'd ask here too...I'm assuming you'd get a little more boost with the guard compared to no filter, I wouldn't need the tuner to make adjustments for it right? Let me know what your experience is, thanks!

Don't do it. You would be surprised how much little stuff like sand and dirt get in.

Thanks for the heads up, I may just run it at the track...the small amount of boost I get shouldn't make a difference with the tune right?

I ran a turbo guard on my turbo car for years with no issues.

There is a reason everything comes with an air filter.

Fine dust destroys engines shortening engine life significantly.

It the same sand they make sandpaper with so think about it.
