Having owned a ss1 le I can say the Recaro seats alone are worth it over the 1 ss seats. The car handles like it’s on rails. It’s a no brainer even as a dd

Honestly, everyone has a different tastes and different priorities.. Mine may or may not hit the track, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying driving it. On pretty much every car I've owned I've upgraded the brakes, exhaust and shifter. This had those as well as the magnetic ride, bigger tires and upgraded suspension. It puts the biggest grin on my face every time I take a traffic circle, off ramp or any other turn. If I'm the highway, I can put it in Touring mode and enjoy the ride. It checked all the boxes for me. As always to each their own...

2SS, my suggestion, non 1LE. Although aftermarket Brembos are North of 4400.00. They would fill up the giant void on the 20s.

Also, full disclosure - mine is not a daily driver - I have an Audi A4 Quattro for that. My decision would have been different if I was getting a daily driver.

Go for the 1LE. I have a 1SS and love it, but my friend just got a 1SS 1LE, and I would take it in a heartbeat for the extra $4,400.

1LE all the way.
It doesn't matter if you are going to track it or not. If you want the best NA Camaro made right now your only logical choice it the 1LE. Best looking, best performing. Only down side, if it matters, is the lack of available all season tires if you live somewhere cold. I'm bias of course, but the car is amazing.

If the choice would have been a 2SS then I would have chosen that for street use. Love all goodies in my 2SS.

I live in the LA area. The roads are crap. California has the 44th worst roads in the nation, and getting worse by the day. Unless you are tracking the car, I would save yourself the $4000.
