Am I the only one who thinks its kind of silly for them to continue to push back 21 buildouts? I may have some bias since I've got a 22 order in place but man...

I would think a good faith gesture would be for GM (or gm) to keep the price for a '22 the same as your '21 if your '21 order can't be built.

At this point, might as well get a '22 and save the 1 year depreciation hit. Good luck.

So will they be producing Camaros for just one week in May and then shut down again? Sure is a bummer. Can’t imagine opening production line for just one week.

I have no idea why the 2021 build is still an option. I agree at this point, let the orders be canceled if they wish or moved to 2022s.

Are the Blackwings 2021 or 2022? Could be a reason for small batch of Lansing builds.

I can’t understand why gm is not being up front with their customers and their dealers. Everyone is familiar with the chip situation. Just tell us the truth as best they can. Stop this dribble and drab bits of information. Customers are upset and their own dealers have to come up with uninformed explanations. My dealer just told me a couple days ago the plant was reopening. Sheese. What a mess

What makes anybody think General Motors knows what they’re doing? They can’t answer questions because they have no answers.

Lazy Sunday... just read this thread thru.

Too bad what’s going on in the swan song of our 6th Gen Camaro’s. Good luck to all of you just trying to get your orders filled.

I guess they won't have any Camaro Festival cars this year at the Indy 500.

GM just needs some more catchy progressive platitudes...."The future is inevitable. There will be chips in it." "We need to pivot towards the compelling customer desire for computer chips."...

or even..."Camaro customers vow to endeavor to persevere"...lol

Yup, unreal and sad isn’t it? Interesting diversion if anyone’s game. My order date was Jan 12 and my status is 3400. Anyone have a later date and have a status code greater than 3400? Also, has anyone’s status code changed since original March shutdown? Mine has stayed the same throughout.

I ordered February 9th and I'm at 3100. I'm assuming I will not be getting a 2021.

Below is the article I found concerning the extended shutdown starting the week of May 10th.

I ordered Jan 28 and I was built 3/1. I went to the biggest dealer in my area because I knew I could jump the line. I'm sitting 4B00 hasn't changed since March.. Hopefully mine is on the truck soon ready to drive instead of watch a bunch "experts" explain the obvious.

Good luck, sad to see such an Amazing car go out like this.
