I personally would not go K&N but this video shows how easy it really is.

Super simple. I pull and clean mine about every two weeks. But that mostly because I like to slice up a air freshener and place the small slivers into the filter. Air that pours out of my AC smells good AF. And even the cheap air fresheners last a couple weeks.

No I don’t put nearly enough of them to clog the air flow. Been running this life hack on my cars for over a decade with literally no issue.
Unless you call a new air freshener paired with heat full blast making my smell goods VERY strong and issue lol.

It's very similar to most other cars. Detach the glovebox and there you are. You will need some elbow grease to make the glovebox come off.

I personally use a charcoal air filter. As for air freshener, I recently got a small essential oil diffuser to give my car some pleasant smell. Not a big fan of synthetic air freshener.

What diffuser did you get? I never considered using one in my car, but if it's possible...

And since it's a Camaro I need something that smells like Drakkar Noir, lol...

How about just dousing the filter with some HAI KARATE and calling it a day

I just had the dealer change mine when it was in for other service. I don't remember the exact cost to change it, but it was not very much

Something simple like this. You just drip a few drops in there and done.
