So typical a Ford homer trolling a Camaro ZL1 forum about a weak ass GT350. The only thing that's a dime a dozen is a ZL1 wiping its ass with a Ford!!

Not sure about that. Since ordering mine January 2017, I have only seen 2 or 3 on the roads in my area.

I have literally seen 3 ZL1's (maybe only 2) in the last 6 months. I have never seen another ZLE on the road or anywhere.

Typical indeed...claiming better looks which are 100% subjective & a better car which is slower in every aspect?? I've seen WAY more 350's down here in the Rio Grande Valley. I know of only two other ZL1's who are members here, one of which I have seen.

I am so glad the local Ford dealer laid ADM on me when I went to buy the 350R before I found out the 17 ZL1...hell, I would be feeling sorry for myself!!

The car is a 530 HP surgical scalpel on the road. The highest naturally aspirated HP motor Ford has ever produced. Owners Kit, Track Attack experience. The R is a special car. I can't see myself letting go of it. My next purchase would have to be in addition to the R.

Fun Factoid: My neighbor has a 17 Z06 A8. He did not go to his offered driving school for it. He regretted it looking back so I offered to take him along on my Track Attack experience. He went and ragged the heck out of a 5.0 while I did the same with a 350. He had so much fun with that 5.0 he bought a 19 Bullitt a week after we got back. So he has a Z06 and a Bullitt next to each other in the garage. I asked him why not a camaro? He simply said he's too short( he's about 5'8") for the camaro and it feels like a dungeon. He never thought much of Ford but the Track Attack with that 5.0 really opened his eyes.

Nah I’m good my C7 Grandsport and my new ZLE crush that car in every category for less money. Sounds cool sure but so does the 6.2l with Kooks headers.

I looked at many and drove a few GT350 not for me. I have a 2018 Raptor and really wanted to park the mustang next to it but it wasn’t even close to the ZLE.

+1.

Looks are subjective; Performance is not. Ford ADM's kept me from making a massively regrettable mistake as well.

These are my friends, Camaro and Mustang... Ask 10 men which girl is hotter and you are likely to get 5 different answers.

And you're dead wrong about Track Attack. GT350 owners drove a GT350 at the school. My neighbor was a "driving guest". He was issued a 5.0 for the school. Guess you didn't go.

There's likely more to your story than you're letting on. I've seen and read about GT350 owners getting warranty claims approved for engines with full exhaust and tunes. And really don't care about your plight. Shoulda bought the right car the first time. Like I did.
Maybe they changed the Crap Attack, but when it was offered to me, it was GT only.

So I should have bought it right the first time, Ford said the GT350 was track ready, well they lied. The Tech Pack was not. Ford sucks

I don't feel sorry for R owners, they are just lucking stupid for paying $20k ADM. There is no way in hell you didn't pay ADM unless you got it used.

Grandson just picked up his 3LT RS a couple days ago. He's about 5'8" and is ear to ear teeth. The inside of the car is remarkably nice and the exterior is actually damn nice looking. It's by no means a ZL1 but Ford will be hard pressed on a track to compete with the Camaro. Good luck with the GT500
because you guys wreck more cars on a drag strip than imaginable. And stay away from crowds in those Mustangs, y'all are dangerous. Lol

First, I call BS on purchasing it below msrp. Let's see the sales slip.

Second, you don't care if it gets to 100k? Then you post you never see yourself letting go of it? But, then you tabulate every possible permutation of how rare and unique your R is? I see a hell of a lot more stang's and R's than Z's around here.

It's time to crawl back under your bridge.

First, YES I paid under MSRP. The car was advertised exactly $100 under sticker in Oct. 2018. I felt I got lucky as hell until my friend got the best deal on an 18 R I ever heard of. It was over $4k off. He had it shipped to CA from TX.

100k miles? OMG. I've had my R since Oct 2018 and I just rolled 3300 in it. And NO you don't see R's everywhere. You might see one at Cars and Coffee.

Look, I'm relaying what my neighbor said. I got nuthin against the ZL1 personally. I just didn't choose one. That's all.

I suspect the GT500 CF TP will be up the task vs the ZL1LE. We'll all know soon enough and then GM will have to make a decision to roll out the LT5 for the camaro or not.

I don't care that you're arguing with that guy about whatever you guys have going on, but you're definitely not seeing more Rs in the wild than ZL1s, just by sales and production numbers alone.
