Ngauge Mounted In Vent Pod

I searched and searched but could not find any way mount the ngauge in our cars I liked. Did not want a suction cup on the window and did not like the idea blocking the drivers side air vent. I ordered the Aeroforce Technology single gauge pod with the hope I could figure out how to make it work. Figured out right away that the ngauge adapter was to big to fit the gauge hole but that the back of the ngauge its self fit pretty good. I installed the vent pod and tried to slide just the ngauge in but it hit the side of the cars gauge cluster. Long story a little longer. I shaved the upper left inside of the vent pod. (sorry did not take any pics of doing the work) Test fit after test fit the ngauge finally fit with out pushing on the gauge cluster. Used some 3M double stick tape and installed the ngauge in the vent pod. Sealed the wires and installed in the car. Here are some pics, let me know what you think?

I thought that the vent was still functional when mounted there?

It is. There is two vent slits on the left side. I can take a photo this evening.

I went with the P3. It's a gorgeous fitment and placement and guage. Great design.

The P3 is just a gauge as far as I know. The Nguage stores your stock tune plus 4 more custom tunes. You can load tunes in about 5 minutes from the touch screen. It also can data log just like HP tuners pro. Has a removal SD card to down load your tunes and data logs.
