I see too much c6 in there, yuck. I hope the finished product ends up in a different direction than corvette has been going these last 30 years or so.

It's still going to be a "Corvette", but I agree- hopefully something to spice it up a bit.

The back needs to look a little less like it got pushed up being rear-ended by another car. The front is ok, but the lines slope upward too sharply toward the back.

Meh, the covered body still doesn't reveal much.
In case you haven't seen this, here is a rendering of the C7 Corvette. It sounds like this is very close to the production car:

C7 is going to be evolutionary, not revolutionary.

From its' profile, i'd say more evolutionary than revolutionary. Hold the right to change my opinion sans camo.

Either way, i'm excited. Will this be the first appearance of the LSX?

LSX, as in the iron block crate engine? No, that isn't going into any production car. The Gen V engines are expected to debut in the C7 Corvette though, and are said to be reviving the 'LT' designation

if thats really how its going to look then GM is playing it WAY WAY too safe. The ZR1 and Z06 are awesome performers, they deserve to look better than they do. The new design seems lacking as well.
