I agree. This is not an attractive paint at all. For an old muscle car, maybe. For a new Camaro, no.

I think the initial impressions are speaking for themselves. Look how many of us, in this thread who love flashy (different) colors and yellow…but none have a good word to say on this color.

They never should have dropped the yellow you had. I've never seen a better yellow. A yellow like yours in 1le form

Yep, I was looking for the Bright Yellow ZL1 before I pulled the trigger on this one I'm getting Thursday, and also looked at a ton of Nitro Yellow before I decided.

The funny part is my wife and I were very unsure until we actually drove our 2017, especially my wife, but she directly asked me if we even could get the same color for the ZL1. I told her about how we can, but there are only a couple of options we would be paying less than 10k difference for a car that is 5 years old with 40k miles (when I was looking). So they seem to have fallen into favor more than when there were around.

I would have loved a yellow ZL1. Unfortunately I would like to purchase a brand new one and I prefer the latest refresh... so yellow isn't even an option.

I love yellow so I still want to see a 1LE in Nitro Yellow. It does look great from certain angles and in the right light(see the Colorado below). That said, I don't really want a car that has to have the right light to look good.

It looks fine on that truck, but I feel this is going to be a flop on the Camaro.

Reminds me of when dodge had introduced the "gold rush" color. That color was basically a flop as well. People will often like things that are unique, but but not enough to receive their money for it.

Yellow has always been one of the lowest volume ordered colors on Camaro so I don't expect that to change with Nitro Yellow. Yellow is very polarizing and it's usually a really like it or really hate it color.

I actually thought twice about getting this color, it's the first yellow I have ever considered because of the unique shade, but it's also VERY visible being so unique, doubt I'd get away with "it wasn't me officer..."

Yes, yellow is typically a low volume color of most vehicles. Some dealers will be hesitant with the color because of it. It is certainly a love it or hate it… but that’s also why some of us love it. 😆

I'd say it's probably the closest to the Bumblebee yellow GM's offered on a Camaro, more-so then the official Transformers edition Camaro.
