Does anyone know how 2 remove the
CENTER CONSOLE REAR EXTENSION Tray? 2018 Camaro. I think it may just be clips, but I wanted 2 ask b4 I start trying to pry things a part.

Since the charger is use less I replaced mine with the all carbon part from trufiber id like to see if I can move the charger pad higher so the phone sits flat and will charge.

Have you upgraded the wireless charging module to the new part (84526978 or 19421449)? According to GM's bulletin and compatibility sheet, late model phones may only work with the new module.

I have not. When I took console apart I removed the charger from trim part and the phone charged perfectly on the pad. My problem seems to be the phone doesn't sit flat since it's too long and it rests on the side wall.

Are you thinking the bulletin address that?

I was going to take the part and trim down the edges and then build back with fiberglass and have trufiber cast another mould but I have so many projects going on like skinng the mirrors in carbon I just haven't had time.

I have tried to find the specs of these modules but came up short, so I don't know if the power/distance has increased with the new unit or not. As to physical fitment, if the phone isn't that much longer, you may be able to make it fit by trimming the edges of the rubber pad a bit, like I did, see the photo below.

The center console lower side panels? They are full replacements parts and not overlays (and thus kind of a pita to install, lol), https://trufiber.com/collections/cam...er-side-panels

I just removed the rear section of the console again yesterday. After reviewing my footage from the carbon fiber lower side panels install and having 2 screws left over I realized I forgot to put in 2 screws that attach below the console lid hinges, lol. Oops. I didn't really want to fully remove the center console (and mess with the shifter) but I was able to remove the rear section of the console which gave me access to the console lid, removed the console lid, and was able to get the 2 screws back in place.

Anyways... remove the 6 bolts from the center console (2 under the knee bolsters on each side and the 1 on each side under the little plug back by the rear of the console), remove the rear seats (super easy), tilt the center console up at the rear, remove the 2 screws under the console that hold the rear section in place, pull up from the rear of the center console and pop the back portion of the center console off (unplug phone charger pad if you have one).
