Hi guys and gals!

So me and my wife and been wanting a 5th gen Camaro for over a year now. She has always had Camaros since HS and I have always had Mustangs. Anyway after looking for months for the perfect ZL1 (auto,vert and white) we picked this 2014 with 18k on the clock and 1 owner. It has the carbon hood insert and the alcantara package. We love it and so glad we went with the ZL1. Its going to remain mostly stock as its fantastic the way it is. Axle back and intake only.

So here is my problem, I am trying to locate a axle back or catback for the car. I thought for sure I would just pick up something from Corsa but finding anything that will fit a auto vert is a problem. I ordered a ROTOfab for it already. Point is, we have no desire to get the car tuned, just make it a little louder.

Anyone know where I can get an axleback or catback for a ZL1 Vert that is auto?

Pull the fuse in the trunk on the NPP, you may find that’s all you need.

I agree. The stock exhaust is hard to improve upon. Remove the fuse and roll!

Regarding the exhaust, rather than modifying it, may I suggest to consider the Mild2Wild wireless exhaust controller? It is plug and play, once installed, one can program two out of the three buttons in the roof, which then keeps the valves open (when turned off) or has the car's computer control them as usual (when turned on). I am happy with mine and like being able to put the car in "stealth mode" when I am driving through populated areas early in the morning. When turned off, the sound is quite rougher; there are bangs and pops from the exhaust all the time too, oh my!

Welcome to the club! Very nice looking Z to! I also suggest to pull the fuse on the exhaust. You may like that just fine. If not have you looked at Borla? I may be mistaken but I think they offer axle back but for a vert I am not sure. Good luck with whatever you do. Also you will find this is a great place to ask questions as everyone here is more than glad to answer and help anyway we can. Enjoy the car!

Welcome to club and congrats on the zl1 . IMHO for the cost of an axle
Back you could buy some long tube headers . Money better spent .

I was going to say it but the previous posts beat me to it. The ZL1's exhaust is quite loud for stock, and Chevy and GM have made great inroads to improving the performance of their oem exhausts. I would only advise you to go aftermarket if you like your exhaust obnoxiously loud.

We usually like the stock exhaust with a set of long tubes but if they are not in your future a catback is a great way to go. The Corsa 14971 has been a big seller for us. Great sound and zero drone. Another great option is the Stainless Works retro chambered catback part CA12CB. Wicked rumble.

When you run headers do you use the cats also? I have been told that they will blow out cats when you do that. Also I have read there are several companies that sell cats that say they won't blow out but they do anyway. So what I have seen is headers and straight exhaust which is loud as heck. Do you know a cat that will not blow out?

Been running Dynatech Hi Flow cats for 5 years they are fine. The first set did go after one year of road course use, but they did a redesign and the second pair has been solid. You still need to inspect them every year.
