We have the best car ! At the best price ! Great article and story, The the ZL1 feels like a fighter jet on the inside, and to most people it looks like a fighter jet on the outside ! These are great times indeed ! Thanks car and driver for the review ! But when your a performance person deep to your core, you know when a vehicle comes along it's a ground breaker, iron rotors but stops better than (or as good)a Z06 or ZR1 with carbon rotors, Z06 motor/650 Hp, Alpha chassis, and 30K cheaper than a Z06.
The best value period !!!! And the look on stingrays, Z06, and ZR1 owners when you pull up priceless ! They know its bad*** and rare to boot ! I pull up on some Corvette owners the other day and got a cold shoulder ! I let the bora Atak npp do the talking, and I hope Texas will approve my personal license plate I want, I got something for the haters !!! LOL |

I agree with you completely. The vast space on top of the dash just looks bad. It’s a lot of plastic that could’ve been broken up with something else besides just plastic. Other than that I love the interior and my only complaint about the entire car is the lacking camera view of the splitter. I’m still not able to guess curb distances so I’m always the guy that’s 4ft back. I’m looking for the best commercial fix. Other than that, rather including that, I love the ZL1 and I cannot praise the Alpha chassis more. Absolutely phenomenal, the combination with the LT4 and alpha are a match like no other. Blows my mind more and more.

Need to wait for the March 2020 issue of Car and Driver to see laptimes at Big Willow. Brace yourselves.

Big Willow is the type of track that favors HP and aero downforce. This may be a track where the CFTP may be able to run faster than the ZLE, but with the tire situation on the CFTP, it may be only for a lap or two that the CFTP is faster...

I'm guessing they're used to Silverados or F150s or Rams!

Love my zl1.
From my point of vies...Thé reproaches would be maybe : Thé time of thé throttle (between thé pedal and the reaction of thé engine... i think it could be quicker. Thé weight : and also you feel it when you turn... thé steering wheel is harder to contrôle when you attack in a fast curve Maybe that’s because I’m french and have two deutch cars... but when i see thé interior I find t very beuatifull and futurist ... thé Only thing that could be better is about thé hard plastic to release... between thé 2012 and thé 2017 there is a real good evolution I hate the mustang interior..( no changes from2005...and maybe from thé sixties lol) hâte the seats, hâte the dashboard.. in fact.. hâte the interior... I love thé noise and the extérior design ... but the zl1 has a better face ... About thé challenger ... For me it has eaten too much hamburgers...lol I love thé three vehicules and I could choose every one of them (plus the z07 or thé c8... but after à long réflexion my choice was the zl1... and you know what... abolutly no regrets |
