Off with the old

Just removed the stock system last night. It took longer to get the car up on blocks than remove the entire system! Hopefully re-assembly is just as simple when the new Borla Atak system arrives.

Looks like mine that is now stored in the 3rd bay garage. Oddly enough it looks restrictive ,but wasn't. But it was far too quiet even with long tubes and HF cats . Went with a SP 1 7/8 long tubes with HF cats MBRP 3 inch and it now it sounds outstanding . Not too loud and not too quiet ,just right.

Other than the trash cans, which is pretty subjective, it doesn't look restrictive at all. At least it's not the L99 one with the huge resonator in the middle.

so what if those resonators and dents by the h-pipe are removed and replaced with straight pipe? I have thought of this since I have the GM performance off road axle back on mine.
