My grandmother cant even find the contact menu let alone tex. We had to tape the phone numbers to the back for her. I like your little Senior citizen texting analysis though

Robert......considering that you QUALIFY (you said it, not me)......its one of the reasons I did my SAFETY mod.

That's funny. Taping her phone list to the back of the phone... we did that to mom's home phone way before cel phones. She couldn't figure out how to use speed dial to save her soul.
When my mom was in her dementia (bless her good-natured heart) my sister set her up with an automatic coffee maker which she would set up for her every night. There would be fresh coffee waiting when mom woke up. I stopped by to visit one day and she was in the kitchen, watching her coffeemaker, waiting for it to make her more coffee... since she'd drunk the first pot she expected it to automatically make her more when it was empty...  They were just raised in a different place in time.

my grandparents bought their first VCR like 6 years ago... no joke... Now they're not making VHS anymore! My grandma has a cell phone, but she too cannot program contacts. She can find the contact list though...
