Transmission Shudder and DTC codes

I have had transmission flushed three times, the last time was about 1500 miles ago with the new fluid. The shudder had come back intermittently, but the tech says he can not duplicate issue and there are no DTC codes. I was not aware that the shudder issue in transmission would trigger codes. Is this correct? I still have one year left on warranty and I am sure it will be going back again.

No it doesn't trigger codes, if you had this done a couple of times and the shudder is still coming back you need a new torque convertor, which many people on here have had their's replaced by their dealership at no cost because it's under warranty which is part of the tsb "fix"

Does gm still replace torque convertors as per the latest TSB? Or is the new fluid flush the only thing they will perform.

In my case the dealership did replace the torque converter along with the latest fluid and flush

You probably need to fight the dealer on it or find a better Chevy dealer to take your car in to for the issue. Service departments vary dealer to dealer.

Feel for ya man.

I’d be making the tech go for how ever long a ride with me it takes.

Just dealt with a TC issue in our 650, actually it still at the dealer. I brought the truck in hauling my skidder & drove the tech around to make sure he knew what I was talking about.
