How much weight do you guys think the rear seats are? And if removing them will show any real weight reduction benefits ?

don't waste your time. you will be lucky to get like 20lbs weight reduction, plus a funny looking interior.

= 4 Gallons of gas.

Just don't fill up all the way.

Significant weight loss will be much tougher. IMO if you don't get at least 100 pounds you won't notice.

Rear seat, passenger seat, restraints for those, A/C Compressor might be about 100. Oh, yeah drain your windshield washer fluid another 8.

But why?

Cloth 28 and leather over 30lbs. Passenger front about 58 lbs. cloth and 65 or so for leather. I save 86 or so removing both but added a 6 pt Chromoly RPM Roll Cage that's close to the same weight, so its a wash. With Magnuson 2650 at the LS Fest mine weighed 3890 with my fat ass.

I’d have to disagree because I went 20x10s and 20x9s (new rims) and I noticed a weight difference between the oem 20x8.5 and 20x9.5 and that was only a small change by .5, so I figured taking the seats out would help

Because wheels are unsprung weight.

these cars are heavy so I think any bit of weight reduction will help you. usually every 100 pounds is around a tenth. some one also makes a rear seat delete. I seen it somewhere but cant remember where at.

No, because wheel weight reduction lowers rotating inertia, and that is a multiple of static weight reduction. A factor of 2.5 to 3, depending on wheel geometry.
