First time out with this car.

Yes I was car #1 for Test and Tune today. Two goals since it is way to hot to run great times, #1. Don't break anything!! Mission accomplished, and #2. Just see what it will run.

3rd run was the best. Traction control off, fronts at 38psi, rears at 21psi, car in Track mode, left off of idle. Density altitude was over 2,500ft, putting in the drag times calculator at normal Byron elevation of just over 800ft it would have been a 11.974 @ 116.21. I will head back in the fall when the air is A LOT better.

Of course another 6th gen would be out there the day I decide not to go! Congrats on the times! The cars do nothing but get faster the more you drive them and get used to them! When fall comes around, we'll have more opportunities at hero runs out there. It regularly hits neg D/A when the temps come down.

They don't call it the House of Hook for no reason.

Agreed! There's a very good reason my car went to the dealer after its last outing. The tires, added with the traction, did not treat the stock axles very nicely. But being an M6 car I have that disadvantage.

Between now and the fall I think a lot of BMR stuff is going to be replacing stock suspension parts.

I've been talking with them and GForce about getting parts onto mine as well. My biggest debate is wanting to drop the warranty. Lol. It's a tough call, as much as I'd love to, it's hard to convince the wife that it's worth it.

Maybe one day, if we're out there at the same time, we can try my slicks in your car and see if it helps the A8 as much as the M6.

Suspension upgrades, as long as you don't go nuts, shouldn't effect your warranty. My dealer has never cared. One time I brought my C5Z in with coilovers and nearly every part changed out on the IRS, and they replaced my blown diff without question lol.
