strut tower brace
is this a waste of a hundred bucks on a street driven car or will it be a noticeable improvement? have been wanting to add one if i will feel a difference.

Well when I installed one on MY Camaro, I noticed the difference right away when I backed out of my driveway. Driving around town and doing some spirited cornering on some of the off and on ramps around, most deffinatly noticed it, the front doesn't flex anymore at the shock towers or roll under. Just me though. I had mine custom painted and installed LED lights on the underside of it for nightime/evening shows.

Are you running sticky tires and cornering hard? Have you already done swaybars?

I doubt you will notice performance gains based on that, but I use mine to hang my nitrous solenoids of of, so ya, it can be multipurposed.

Justice Pete used to say that they might offer a slight improvement, but they never saw any gains on lap times adding them.

bought one of the stock ones for the 1LE put it on, noticed no difference. Left it on until I supercharged at, added all that weight. Took it off, don't need the extra weight, notice no difference.

As mentioned already by others it really seems to keep the car more stable per say when cornering or if there are sharp curves on on/off ramps. To me it was worth it but to each there own. I installed the 4 point brace.

Its really up to you...not us. If you like it and want it...buy it. I like the GM one. It would mostly be for looks because there are many many other useful things that will improve handling...or just because its how you think the car should look or handle. I would get one..but I have a 2010. It would require drilling and a kit (which is ridiculously over priced....and cost more than the brace itself).
Good luck.

It won't improve overall chassis stiffnesses, and the local stiffness improvements won't make enough difference in front tire operating camber for normal people to actually feel and be able to identify. Norm

Not worth it...use on actual upgrades, i.e. bushings...

The main reason I installed it WAS for the look it provided, not the thought of any performance gain which I knew wouldn't be there, I liked it so I bought one, but it did tighten up the front a bit as Camaro2SS2010 and I have mentioned earlier. If you like the look, get one. And as mentioned for performance handling, there are a lot more items that are important for that.
