That definitely is NOT the case, Google does not assume ownership. I would look into copyright law, especially when using material for a sales purpose. It may not be a "big deal" on here, but it could bite somewhere else.

Think of Google as a friend. Suppose you have asked your "friend" to go to the local Chevy dealer and retrieve the keys to the new Camaro inventory. Your friend retrieves, and provides you with the keys to the Camaros... does that make you the owner of those cars?
