New Grille - Photoshop only

I was wandering around dealership waiting on my car. Found myself admiring the grille from the 2017 Camaro SS. I do not know if it can be done but the part is only $78. I figure it is worth a try. Before/After photoshop:

I like it , it's different and it fits the Camaro styling just fine.

What I do like is the consistent design between the top and bottom.

Sorry, but the first thing I thought of when I saw it was the grate that holds the charcoals in my old BBQ pit ... like the stock better

Looks too much like my 2016 4Runners grill. But it's all in what you like not us.

However, if you're wanting to do that grill, please do not put the SS badge like you have it in the picture. Your grill choice isn't a bad one, but putting the badge on the upper side of the grill looks weird. Either put it in the stock location or leave it off IMO.

Thank for all the comments, I do appreciate them. I understand all the love for Heritage grille, it is just not for me. It turns out this project will be more - around $130. I can't get the part as advertised for $78 from gmpartsdirect.com. It is highly unlikely I will end up with a nice looking piece after cutting, grinding, glue, plastic weld, etc.

Glad someone else noticed this. It is an annoyance of mine.

OP, that is definitely different and I personally like it, but I still like the ZL1 version so much more.

I would put that pattern grille in the heritage grille shell.
Then it'll look right.
