I know ford will respond. Its all about sales and bragging rights. The new mustang GT looks sinister....it just needs more power and some tweaking on the handling. A black GT was behind me the other day I was admiring the car the whole way. The GT350 that's a car I want...need to test drive it first.

Given GM track record with the ls2 and ls3 I wouldn't be surprised if they leave the lt1 alone. The ls1 got a couple small changes.
The cam in the lt1 is small and I'm sure some power is still on the table but we will see. Guess I wouldn't be surprised either way. They are just as likely to have an entirely different motor in 2017 for the vette. The ls2 only ran from 05-07. |

When are we gonna see an ignition video or a head to head video of this camaro? So far only printed reviews were released that I'm aware of.

The Mustang growls, the Camaro Howls.
Enough said. Game, Set, Match. Camaro edges out the mustang in looks and performance. The world is driven by COMPETITION and COMPETITION breads excellence. These are 2 (two) fantastic cars, this goes without saying. I had a choice. To get a mustang or Camaro. I chose the Camaro. I have wanted one since FOREVER. I fell in love with the second generation Camaro right around 1977-1978. I thought it was very cool looking. I knew some day I would get one. This love for the car went straight thru the third generation and the IROC series. Again, very cool looking car. I have a neighbor next door to me who has a black 1978 Camaro parked in his garage. Kept it in excellent condition. He barely drives it. I think they have done a remarkable job with the all new sixth gen. It's finally my time to drive a piece of history. The 2016 Camaro.

Should be a lot of potential for performance from the LT1. Does raise an eyebrow on future V8's from Chevy though. Didn't they change the cam slightly to help meet emission standards? So even with DI/Duration change were they still having emission issues?

Don't want a narrow, tall, top-heavy Mustang. Camaro is the way to go.

Mustang is wider. Taller leads to the better visibility and feeling of openness. Top heavy? Apparently you've seen cg numbers not in any review s that I've read.
