I doubt it is a 1LE, but it could be the wheel width and tire size we will see for a 1LE or performance variant.

Chevy is rumored to be working on a wide body version but I don't see why they would build a wide body V6 for SEMA and not discuss it.

Not really... I am just glad to see they are allowing you to get an LT trunk lid so you can mount the blade spoiler. The SS deck will not allow it as the mounting points for the stock SS spoiler will need to be filled in.

Regardless, the SS spoiler has grown on me and I'll keep it until I see the Z variants

Please explain the difference between the 1LE and the 2SS. What was so great about the 1LE?

Well, for starters, the blue car is a "non-V8/SS" and the white car is a a V8/SS car. So the brakes will be 4 piston brembos and wheels will be wider.

Not to mention the car is called the "performance package".

The 1LE in the 5th gen was an option that could be added to a 1SS or a 2SS and it changed the wheel widths, Differential gearing, swaybar diameters, shocks, flat bottom steering wheel, Clean side oil seperator, and a few other things.

Basically it is a "track pack" option for people that put their car on the road courses.

I think this has been explained as "Its got a hole, for now, for those early production runs." It's not going to stay that way as inventory and production grow.

The 1LE is a handling package that can be added to the SS with the 6 speed manual. It includes upgraded suspension components, forged wheels, stickier tires, different gearing, upgraded fuel pump, functional aero pieces, matte hood wrap and alcantera wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. It completely changed the feel of the car and makes it very capable on the track.
