NPP IS IT WORTH GETTING AFTERMARKET EXHAUST

I am wondering what you guys think about getting an aftermarket exhaust with NPP. I just don't see a difference in sound when switching between modes. Would that be a waste of money after paying to get the NPP? I like to be able to change the sounds.

With the Rattle and buzzing some of the NPP systems do and GM doing nothing about it....it is either live with a crap sounding Muscle car that is no joy to drive or replace the junk system and enjoy driving your car again.

It is probably better to not order the NPP to begin with I guess. My husband ordered his SS without the NPP for this reason.

Mine works very well. Switching from tour to sport when parked, the dB difference is instantly noticeable.

I think npp is worth getting just for the diffuser and the trouble of changing it to go quad exhaust (which is a must for a SS). Apparently removing the front and /or rear cats makes it louder and meaner which can be toned down using npp.

Cant go wrong for the extra $$$ on a NPP unless you plan on upgrading later on. I don't have a rattle on mine and also recently pulled the fuse for full exhaust tone and love it even more on the highway, also no drone noises...

The only thing I do not like about the NPP is that it isn't loud enough when on the louder settings. I like being able to switch between sounds, I like the quad tips and diffuser. The Borla NPP exhaust looks good but I am not sure if it is worth it and if it will maintain the different sounds on each mode.

If the NPP isn't loud enough then you aren't on the go pedal hard enough.

I love the NPP exhaust on my car. I'll probably go catless when I put the nitrous on it. That will make it just a little louder.

I had an SLP loudmouth on my 5th gen so I guess I was used to that rude loud sound even at idle. I just wish the Track would be kinda of like that.

Is anyone considering the Borla exhaust for NPP. It is 2k, this is what I have been debating because I think by putting the Borla I would be losing the not so loud sounds on stealth/tour. I don't usually use these but it is cool to show people how the sound changes on each mode. Most of the time I drive on Sport or Track.
