Yeah. My kid is home from school for the summer and has effectively commandeered my “daily driver”

17,836 as she sits right now. She’ll probably stay there for a while. Rain forecast for the rest of the week.

I'm at 7200 and change with another 1400 going on it this weekend. Then the rest of the year will be small blips.

Hey everyone - so I put on my AC just through windshield defrost and the glass fogs up big time....a lot of condensation on outside that I have to wiper away. And the problem doesn’t go away...gets into my line of sight? Any thoughts here? Thanks

Is a known issue on the 6th gen Camaro. Especially in humid climates. The fix isn’t pretty and most people report mild to little improvement once done. Requires a windshield pull for one. I posted it a while back here. Supposedly corrected in 2018+ (I can’t verify).

I just put a microfiber towel over the vent currently until I get unbusy/unlazy enough to 3D print and/or make something to fit better.

Here are a few pics from Camaro Fest! I had a blast! I drove at NCM, drag raced and Camaro Crossed. I won the bracket racing in Drag Racing! So I was excited about that. First time drag racing this car. Also met a few of us Fifties! And looking forward to carving out some time next year for a group picture!

Al O., Adam Berry, Jim Kalahar and Scott Settlemire signed my rig as well! So that was an awesome treat! I can't wait till next year!

Was fun meeting you and watching you race. You tore up the track!

Nice haul on the signatures. I have those minus Jim. Always next year.

I could be wrong here, but I believe that OP was running the A/C solely through the “defrost” vent, in which case the temperature is the issue. Turn up the temperature (or warmer) so that the temp difference between the inside and outside isn’t quite so drastic.

The A/C will reduce the moisture regardless of temperature setting, for the most part. However the greater the temperature difference in/out will cause the condensation.

I’m assuming you’re trying to reduce the moisture on the inside but getting even more condensation outside. If I’m mistaken in my understanding of your question, my apologies.

There is a leakage issue thru the defrost vent when other vents are selected, that Adam mentioned.
