I actually run car in Tour and turn ALL nannies off! Like "lighter" steering. |

I would recommend seasoned drivers that run in Race to turn it all off.
Feel like you actually have more control over the car. Never going back |

On the modes, the only thing you can't change manually is throttle mapping. So I run track for the more linear mapping and change the steering to sport and sus to track.

The most noticeable difference between Tour and Track throttle response is the amount of engine braking you get when you completely lift. Tour is designed around drive quality metrics and has almost no engine braking, it carries light throttle so you don't feel the lash on an abrupt lift. Track has "normal" engine braking, and it really helps the car tuck when you lift.

I would think difference will be felt in the slower spped turns.
With Katech aluminum flywheel i am pretty sure throttke differences are muted a bit. |

Apart from throttle response (perhaps a minor consideration given your mods), one thing to check would be ediff in Tour vs Track. As much as switching TC and ECS off should get ediff into an aggressive calibration, i would not be surprised if keeping a drive mode in Tour would not affect it somehow. Afterall, Tour has not been designed for track use of any kind according to GM. Food for thought.

There are 4 E-diff modes that prioritize different parameters, depending on the mode and sub-mode you are in. I think it has been posted in a sticky somewhere on here before. This is why, even though I like the Sport throttle response better for street use, I use the Track Setting and PTM modes. When the car is in PTM Mode of Dry and above, the E-diff is in a more aggressive setting and gets you around tight corners quicker.

For the eDif, I just did the alternate calibration so it doesn't matter what mode I'm in if all the nannies are turned off.

Next outing i need to put in Track with nannies off to see if I get more grip out of the slower turns.
