illuminated door sills
Quick question, do all the Camaro's have illuminated door sills. Crazy as it may sound but after 2 years I just noticed it is backlit. You can't really see it in this Florida sun. I then went to the build sheet and saw it was from the factory. Was this a option?

When I ordered my 2019 2SS it was standard with the 2SS package. The 1SS did not come standard but was an option. I would imagine the ZL1 had them standard... but not sure. No idea if anything has changed in the ordering process since the 2019 model year.

I added mine on my 1LT, as it was not standard on that trim. On the 2LT it was standard

2LT, 3LT, 2SS, and the ZL1(1LE) come standard with the illuminated door sills. It’s a neat little party trick to show off in the night with the ambient lights... well to me anyways lol

The backlit illumination only comes on in dim conditions, dusk or later. During the day, when you open the door, they will not be lit.
